Our history, our mission
Who is behind this project?
The story of Urban Dogs began when Alexia, our dog coach, signed up as a volunteer at the Croix-Bleue shelter in 2018. She couldn't resist the charms of her first dog for long, an Australian shepherd called Hélios, whom she adopted a few days after being abandoned by his first family.
From 2020 onwards, she embarked on a number of training courses, determined to improve the daily lives of many families who have questions about their dogs' behaviour. She imagines a world where every puppy finds a loving, permanent home, aiming to prevent any dog ever having to go through the cage of a shelter.
She firmly believes that harmonious cohabitation between citizens and dogs is achievable in urban environments. After talking to many dog owners, the idea of creating a centre bringing together a range of complementary services focusing on canine well-being seemed obvious.
Our complementary team, passionate about dogs
As each dog and each owner is unique, the Urban Dogs team adapts its approach to meet the needs of your unique pair.
Our mission today is to make owners and dogs happy by offering them the best advice and services on a daily basis.
