Your opinion is important to us. More than 300 families have already put their trust in us!
When I first moved to Brussels, it was really tough to find a place for my high-energy Jack Russell that I could trust, where he could get out all his energy, and where he would really enjoy himself. Urban Dogs has been a dream. Alexia has been a great support during our move and even with a new baby in the house, suggesting some training modifications and emphasizing the importance of meeting my dogs mental and physical needs. This is a place you can trust your fur baby 100%. He'll have lots of fun and learn some new things, as well!
We had a little Frenchie who was quite hard to handle at first, but then we found the best trainer in town! They gave us great advice and helped us understand how to manage our puppy better. Now our Frenchie has become such a good girl - even though she still has her silly moments sometimes. We'll definitely be sending her back for group sessions so she can keep learning and have fun with other dogs. Highly recommended!
Very reliable and lovely doggy daycare. It's our dogs favorite day of the week and he comes back happy and content! We've recommended urban dogs already to many fellow dog owners!
My little dog was very well received and understood from his very first day by a very friendly, flexible, motivated and dedicated team. He's now part of the little Urban dogs family, which he can't wait to see again on a regular basis, and where I leave him in complete peace of mind because I know he's in good hands and well looked after. He's much more sociable and at ease with himself since he's been there. Thank you so much to the Urban dogs team, what would I do without you!
Urban Dogs have saved us. Our puppy cannot stay home for a full day, so we reserved for days when we can't be with him. It turned out to be a great idea: the organisation and reliability is excellent. But above all, Azul's enthusiasm to go in once we park the car shows how much he loves it and how safe he feels there.
I 100% recommend Urban Dogs for their passion and dedication. My small dog attended several training sessions with Vittoria, and the results were amazing from day one. Now I have a much more balanced companion, free of some unwanted behaviors. I'm really happy with the results.
A perfect welcome for Blaise, a sensitive dog who needs delicacy and progressiveness. At urban dogs we really take this time so that each dog finds its place, thank you, a top intro for Blaise whose photo said it all and who will be back.
Albus 🐶 loves going to Urban dogs whether it's for the daycare service or the education sessions! There is clearly a positive difference even after a few visits
I'd say that Alexia's strengths are: advice that's adapted (to the dog and to the owner), explanations that are very practical and not too theoretical and, last but not least, her patience and desire to help both owners and dogs.
Alexia gave me some very good advice, adapted to our environment, before our Bernese Mountain Dog arrived at home. Having taken in an extremely timid and fearful dog, Alexia then helped us, with the help of tips and tricks, to gain our puppy's confidence and make him feel more and more at ease with us, which was not an easy thing to do.
Ombeline was great with our dog. She was very mindful and attentive to our worries. After a 1:1 meeting (we walked outside in Bois de la Cambre), she gave us a complete protocol tailored to our dog's needs so we can train him out of his "bad habits". 100% recommend UrbanDogs!
FAQ
Which dogs are eligible for daycare?
We wanted to create the first daycare in Brussels with synergies between different professions in order to offer you the best for your dog. In practical terms, the daycare centre is open to all dogs that do not have any behavioural problems with other dogs or humans. If you would like to bring your dog to the daycare but he has some behavioural problems, we will first ask you to follow a few individual or group training courses in order to sort out his problems. All dogs undergo a compulsory introduction day to ensure that they feel at home at Urban Dogs, get on well with the other dogs in the centre and respect the dog trainers who supervise them as well as the equipment provided.
How does the test day work?
Every Friday, we organise the introductions. Throughout the day, we will take care of your baby so that their needs are respected. They'll go home feeling refreshed and relaxed after spending the day in our daycare centre. If ever the adaptation does not go well, we ask you to be available all day so that you can collect them and make sure that it remains a good experience.
How to become a member of the daycare?
Once your dog has been through an introduction day and all the signals are green; he has felt good in his paws throughout the day, he has got on well with the other dogs and members of staff, he has respected the basic rules of the centre (no destruction of equipment, no excessive barking, etc.), he can become a member.
However, if your dog does not pass its entry test, we will refer you to training courses so that they can eventually become part of our pack.
How does the monthly subscription work?
Once you've successfully completed the test day, you can book a subscription so that you can entrust your dog with us several times a week. When you book, you choose the month you want and the next 20 days will be automatically booked. If you know that your dog will not be coming one day during that month, please let us know so we know we are not expecting ther tail :)
What do I need to bring for a day at the daycare?
You only need to bring your dog's collar, tag and leash. If your dog eats at lunchtime or has to take oral medication, we can of course respect this. Please bring your dog's food or medication in a special box with instructions.
All other equipment will be provided on site.
